RAW MATERIALS

We care about the quality of the raw materials we supply to ensure the high quality of the product that will eventually reach your hands. Consequently, we choose the finest grains from the production of Cyprus, as well as from other countries such as France, Hungary, Austria and Canada.

LOCAL SOURCING

Cyprus Millers by Hadjigiorkis invests in a strong chain that unites the local wheat producer with the consumer, making sure that a large part of the wheat that will be used in our production originated from local production. Our priority is to maintain a long-term, strong, and successful relationship with our local producers that benefits the local community.

QUALITY STATEMENT

Every day, we monitor the quality of incoming grains to our company, taking samples throughout the milling process in our Quality Control Laboratory. Our Millers and Quality Control Technicians share the same vision of excellence, grounded in years of expertise and dedication to ensuring quality. The laboratory is responsible for guaranteeing that every final milling product meets the highest quality standards. It conducts analyses to ensure grains are free from harmful toxins, pesticides or other dangerous microorganisms and plays a vital role in the research and development of new products. 

Since 2001, when we implemented and certified with the ISO9000 Quality System, we have continued to strengthen our practices. The application and certification of the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 220000 in 2018 reinforced the existing ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System, which has been in place since 2003.

With certifications in the food safety and hygiene standards, as well as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System, certified since 2004), OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety System, certified since 2006), and EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme, certified since 2009), we remain committed to providing high-quality, safe products to our customers. This commitment meets and exceeds the high expectations of our clients and partners, who appreciate the trust and collaboration we have cultivated over the years.
